DUET gives tests for Chhatra League leaders in separate hall!

The administration of Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology (DUET) is making arrangements for BCL leaders to take the exam in the separate examination hall by providing adequate security. After such news spread in the campus, there is a pent-up anger among DUET students.

Talking to the students, it is known that none of the students could live a normal life due to the torture of Chhatra League leaders. DUET Chhatra League harassed the protesters in various ways during the recent quota movement. Although everything has been submitted to the administration with evidence, the DUET administration is saving them by allowing them to sit in exams in special security arrangements without any trial.

Alleging that the students, who did not want to be named, said, "DUET teachers could never be friendly to common students".

Expressing surprise, they also said, 'We have been demanding justice since the first day of opening of the university. We have also informed that we will not sit for the examination unless the wrongdoers are tried. The varsity administration urged us to take the test, assuring that the culprits would be prosecuted. But now secretly, they are giving the Chhatra League examination!

Common students demand that those accused should take the exam if they are found innocent after the completion of the trial process.

In this regard, Director of Student Welfare Dr. Utpal Kumar told this reporter, our trial process is ongoing. Subject to the investigation, we will identify the culprits and arrange for their prosecution. But as yet they are not proven criminals so we cannot stop them from taking the test. If they are found guilty, we will punish them even by withholding their clearance certificate.
